Following all the events that afterward, the Saiyans of Universe 7 got power ups that place them far beyond the strongest opponent in the tournament; Jiren the Gray. While we saw Mastered Ultra Instinct Goku easily beat Jiren, Goku has since perfected and tailored the technique to himself to be most useful for him. With this True Ultra Instinct technique , Goku would be even more effective in the second tournament than he was in the first as he learnt to take all the strengths that came with Ultra Instinct and mix them with his natural Saiyan powers instead of discarding all emotions as the original form does. With this, he can fully utilize both defensive and offensive capabilities of Ultra Instinct in the second tournament, making it last for way longer and with less strain on the body. This was the biggest drawback of his first time using it against Jiren and with it being perfected, he would do even better this time around.
