The only way to survive down here is to take your time, take down enemies strategically and avoid the deadly Basilisks at all costs more on that later. Most of the enemies in The Depths are also weak to fire, so stock up on firebombs if you want to cause some damage.
How the HELL do you get here??? With all enemies dead, head through the partially destroyed gate to the find the merchant Domhnall of Zena. Head back to the stairwell and instead go the other way. Proceed on down the hallway and down a set of stairs. Skip to the ' Basilisk Tunnels' section below for a survival guide. Ignore the right turn and go straight ahead, turning left at the next intersection. When equipped this item will restore some of your HP every time you kill an enemy.
