I really want to write a fic where Paulina slowly realizes through her forced time with Danny throughout the series had made her actually not dislike Danny. She starts to see him as an actual person who isn't some loser. She sees how Sam and Val like Danny and starts to think how Danny, a total loser, managed to get an ex-A Lister and a albeit an outcast rich kid to like him. Paulina doesn't seem to be the type to actually give dudes a real chance, only stringing them along for her amusement because they won't leave her alone. So her actually starting to realize she wants to get to know Danny and feel remorse for her trying to use him against Sam rattles her to the core. Because why did she even think dating Danny was a good idea back then? She could have just went on dates with him. The overshadowing doesn't count in her eyes, but the rest of it does. Why didn't she just string him along for a few dates and drop him? These questions rattle around in her brain as she realized that maybe, on some small level she didn't realize existed, the thought of actually dating someone who was interesting and different didn't make her feel like nails on a chalkboard. I just also want to write a fic where Paulina isn't a two dimensional girl and actually has a personality other than pretty popular girl. Original story idea by me. I do not own Danny Phantom or The Mask. Today was none other than her 16th birthday, and while MTV may not have been on hand to film it, her parents had spared no expense to make it a super sweet one. Too bad she had to go back to school on Monday. Sure, everyone who was anyone in the junior class had gotten an invite, along with several seniors and sophomores who had proven their worth. But going back to school also meant that she would have to deal with the losers - most notably the weird Fenton kid and his creepy Goth girlfriend. Those two had proven to be quite notable in a school filled with awkward kids and weirdos.

Danny attempts to ask Paulina out on a date while trying to fend off a ghost dragon at the same time. Danny goes to his father in the Fenton lab before school, eyeing Jack and his newest invention - the Fenton Ghost Fisher , which Jack is using to try to fish out ghosts from the Fenton Ghost Portal. Jack has to leave for a moment to use the restroom, so he plants the fisher on Danny to hold until he returns. It snags a ghost, which Danny reels in to reveal a dragon ghost. He goes on the defensive and fights the dragon until her amulet comes off, ending up inside Danny's backpack—unbeknownst to both. The dragon reverts to a medieval ghost princess who only desires to go to the princess costume ball, who flees back through the Ghost Portal, leaving Danny completely baffled upon her exit.
