Crate and Barrel has been a frontrunner among furniture and home decor retailers for decades. The company began in when founders Gordon and Carole Segal were inspired to introduce the simply beautiful and functional houseware they experienced on their European honeymoon to the American marketplace, per Crate and Barrel.
