Over the years, I have pretty much established what colourpop rex favorite brands are for different categories of products. Every now and then I come across a new brand that gets rave reviews for a unique and innovative product of theirs.

Whilst this saying holds true in nearly all aspects of our lives, we love that it also applies to our favourite bit - makeup! People often get tricked into thinking that products with lower price points are inferior in quality. However, brands like ColourPop are here to change that notion! The eye shadow comes packaged in a white plastic pan with a screw on lid. The transparent top makes it easy to see the exact colour of the shadow inside.

The swatch speaks for itself… I like using these the same way I would use a glitter or a sparkly pigment: dabbed on the center of the lid on top of a similar base color. The shade name is printed on the bottom of the pan, whilst the instructions for storage are listed on the accompanying box. Although there was a bit of fallout, we were pleased to note that the glitter particles did not stray away from our lids.
