Seats weren't great and the cinema room was pretty cold, we had to sit with our jackets on all Hard to put a proper rating as I have a very specific problem. Everything about it was good. I've always wanted to see a film in an imax screen so being in Edinburgh i leapt at the chance to see the new alien film at the cineworld cinema complex the staff were great the screen size is awesome the seats were very comfortable new leather ones the sound was from every angle you could imagine although very very loud too much in my opinion a little less would have been. Better so pleased I went although this film was not the best for me so if you're in Edinburgh and you fancy a film this is a great place to go and if you want the big screen of an imax this place has got one very impressive. I've had a membership with Cineworld for the past 4 years, 3 out of which i've been a loyal goer to the Fountainbridge branch. It, quite simply, has it all. Staff is always very cheerful and polite, never had a single bad experience. It infuriates me to see manky shoes on the back of the seat i'm about to take. Only a thought. Great cinema with all the require facilities and a number of large screens including IMAX. Number if eating establishments nearby as well as a comprehensive kiosk.
