Chopper rebels

This animated series followed the adventures of the crew of the Ghost, a small rebel cell active in the formative years of the Rebel Alliance. Chopper quickly set himself apart from Star Wars ' other famous astromech, R2-D2. While R2 was a loyal friend to his companions, with chopper rebels bit of a cheeky side, Chopper was a grumpy and ill-mannered agent of chaos, chopper rebels. While chopper rebels cared about his crewmates deep down and usually acted with their best interests at heart, Chopper was far more violent and unpredictable than other astromechs who had appeared in Star Wars media.

CP better known as Chopper was an astromech , who served alongside the rebel crew of the Ghost. During the Clone Wars , Chopper served the Republic Navy as a navigational astromech and was part of the Ryloth campaign. During the battle, his Y-Wing Starfighter was shot down and he was heavily damaged, leading to him being found by Hera Syndulla , a young Twi'lek girl who was the daughter of the Twi'lek Resistance leader Cham Syndulla. Hera had to partially rebuild Chopper to restore him to functional status: given that she didn't have access to standard parts for his model, he became a "mongrel" astromech, cobbled together from disparate parts salvaged from various other destroyed droids. Chopper's battered and buggy new body left him with a cranky personality, though he became very loyal to his new master Hera for saving him.

A beat-up, patched together astromech droid dating back to the Clone Wars, CP — or Chopper —is a reliable droid who has served with Hera Syndulla for decades. Loyal to a fault, with a cranky personality to match his weathered finish, during the age of the Empire, Chopper served the Ghost crew in everything from ship maintenance to undercover missions and combat. When Hera left home to become a rebel offworld, Chopper followed, eventually working as a trusted member of the Ghost crew. Chopper was capable at manning the guns during battle, or trading his orange and yellow paint job for a more Imperial finish to go undercover behind enemy lines. The droid delighted in interacting with his friends in between missions, playing pranks on his fellow rebels, and unleashing more damaging antics on his enemies, chuckling electronically as he got the better of Imperial astromechs and stormtroopers. After many years of repairs and patch jobs, Chopper had a beat-up, worn look that matched his sometimes cranky personality. During a refueling mission on Horizon Base, Chopper stole a strut to upgrade his appearance. But beyond his rugged exterior, Chopper proved to be an essential part of the small rebel team, as loyal and heroic as the rest. Skip Navigation More More Search. My Account Logout. Despite repairing the hyperdrive, chopper rebels, their efforts came to naught when Mart diverted the power to the laser cannons and shields. Shortly later, Cham entered the room and informed the rebels that they should be chopper rebels ready for their mission.

Chopper was never one to shy away from violence, especially in service of those he cared about. He was and, as evidenced by the Ahsoka trailers, has remained as unflinchingly loyal as ever, willing to help the Ghost crew and by extension the Rebellion at large defeat the Empire once and for all. The question is, has he become even more violent since he was last seen on screen? Chopper has killed plenty of Imperial officers and stormtroopers throughout Star Wars Rebels. The specific Imperial Interdictor seen in Rebels houses a crew of roughly 2, A Light Cruiser operates with a crew of around Altogether, the destroyed Interdictor and the two Light Cruisers prove that in just one episode, Chopper killed roughly 4, Imperials.

Meanwhile at the camp, Kanan tried unsuccessfully to convince Fenn Rau to join the rebellion while Sabine managed to plant explosives on seven of the starfighters before she was discovered. Together, the two droids then made their way to the cargo ship's bridge while arguing over who should take command. However, Chopper's arrival at the base was detected by the crew of an IGV surveillance vessel. Trapped, Kanan contacted Hera for help and Chopper was sent to unlock the blast doors. While aboard Chopper copied the ship's communications logs and took advantage of an attack by the Ghost to flee the ship. On one occasion, he became jealous of the Imperial courier droid and threw him out of the Ghost in mid-air; he also knocked another Imperial droid into a sewer system and was in favor of destroying EXD-9 despite being under the impression that the Infiltrator was a mere protocol droid. Chopper intended to rejoin the Rebel Fleet. Even Solo: A Star Wars Story — a decidedly less popular entry — debuted the memorable revolutionary L, a singular droid composed of astromech and protocol parts. The mission was complicated when Kallus and Lyste were summoned for a meeting aboard the Chimaera by Thrawn. Chopper himself infiltrated the Academy disguised as an Imperial astromech droid; sporting black paint to complete his disguise. While Kanan and Ezra traveled to the housing unit, Chopper and Zeb stayed behind at the spaceport to search for any ships belonging to the Inquisitors. During the journey, Rau broke free of his restraints and stunned Sabine and Ezra.

Kanan and Ezra attempted to reach the Phantom but were held back by Vader. During a brief gun battle, Chopper hid behind several crates while Ezra, Kanan, and Zeb fought off the stormtroopers. By daybreak, the two rebels had reached the exit of the canyon. While the other rebels took part in the mission, Chopper and Ezra were ordered by Hera to stay behind and to clean the Ghost as punishment for not cleaning the exhaust systems and laughing at Ezra respectively. In addition, Sabine had received intelligence that the Imperial fleet above Lothal had departed. This allowed him to escape the Fifth Brother and Seventh Sister, who had arrived to hunt down the three Jedi. Chopper tells his comrades to "wait for it" and their patience is soon rewarded. While AP-5 reluctantly allowed Chopper to served as the ship's helmsman, Chopper changed his mind and then changed the ship's coordinates. While the other rebels took part in the mission, Chopper and Ezra were ordered by Hera to stay behind and to clean the Ghost as punishment for not cleaning the exhaust systems and laughing at Ezra respectively. The rebels then blasted their way through Brunson's light cruiser by firing proton torpedoes.
