We've got a mid 70s C with a engine in our sprayer tender truck that we can't get to run right. It ran fine last summer when we were spraying but then dad used it to haul water to cattle through late summer and now it won't run right, chevy 366 problems.

I've seen quite a few posts on various forums where people have done this with great results, but the details are all over the place. Some folks say you need an adaptor plate or the butterflies won't open. Some folks say you don't. Same with the throttle linkage - a mix of "it just works" or "had to modify it".
