The Player Search feature found under Social in the main menu can be used to easily and instantly locate other logged-in player characters PCs. Searches will list up to results, starting with the ones which are physically closest the player's own character. Players can adjust their own search info by selecting the Party Members tab in the Party section of the main menu, right-clicking their own name, and selecting Edit Search Info. Selecting Search Conditions will open a new window in which players can specify the conditions of their search to produce more accurate results. Options include partial name searches for both first and last names, as well as searching by online status, class , level, location, or languages spoken.

If you are experiencing any issues with finding your character after logging in, please try the following steps. Firstly, log into your account on the Mog Station and click on your username in the top right-hand corner of the page. This will then show you an overview of the characters on your current service account, including which World they are on. You can also check the details of characters on a different service account, if applicable. If you have not logged in with your character for some time, there is a possibility that it will not show on the Mog Station view as described above. The best way to find this character again would be to log into the game and check for the following things: Are you on the correct World? This will be above a list of characters, or above a note stating that no characters exist on your current World. Are you on the correct Data Center? By default, it will be the last one you visited, however this may now be incorrect if your character belonged to a World that was moved to a different Data Center. If you have followed all of the steps above and are still unable to find your character, there is a possibility that you may have deleted it. If this is the case, please get in touch with the Game Master team here. Please note that you will need to log in with your Square Enix account to use this form.
