Really glad they did because this restaurant was really great on all fronts. Pleasant, knowledgeable staff, good service for cooking fresh and a really great choose of food to please a wide variety of tastes. Just had a great meal tonight in this lovely restaurant. Five of us all had something different and everyone said how much they enjoyed it. We had Chicken Maryland, Lasagne, gammon steak, curry and chicken coujons.

This was our second visit and it was just as lovely this time round. Again, the service was excellent, the restaurant spotless and the food top notch. The menu is varied with Scottish dishes, pizza and pasta - but chef's indian-type food is absolutely gorgeous so we went for that! Visited here for lunch great menu various types of food I had the Indian Tahli selection and I wasn't disappointed the finest lamb curry I have had. Went for lunch today both had the meat and veg Thalia was excellent. Fantastic choice of pakora starter chicken tikka lamb bhuna and veg dish with rice rata. Excellent size portion and would definitely recommend. Food was extremely good and server was so nice and made sure we were well looked after.

Really nice lunch today - first time in Chapter and Verse as we're new to the area and popped out at lunchtime for a quick bite. Meat chilli was really nice and not at all greasy. Vegetable thali was a delight also, with well thought out and nicely spiced dishes and a freshly made chapati.
