White bought two catnip plants shortly after he rescued a stray cat from the streets of Toronto and immediately noticed how the two plants caused vastly different reactions. Then one day during a hike, White noticed some catnip growing in the wild. He began harvesting strains of the plant from forests all across the Greater Toronto Area and testing them on his network of cats to determine the type of high the cats received from the plants. He hang-dries every plant for at least 90 days, harvests the buds and then cures them in jars for another 90 days.
