When an opportunity arises to spend my summer in Las Vegas, I stumble upon my hot new neighbor and his photography studio. We strike a simple deal. I fell in love with Avery's character immediately. I think she is super relatable. She has an amazing job that she kicks butt at, yet she sometimes feels like she isn't good enough. She compares herself to others and always thinks she's not pretty enough or that her body isn't good enough for the world. Her confidence in herself takes an even bigger hit when her boyfriend of 4 years breaks up with her because their relationship was sloppy and basically shames her for the way she handled the stress of building their company. He tells her she's great, but not great enough. One of Avery's clients asks her for help finding a house sitter, and she jumps at the opportunity to do it herself. She can get away and process her thoughts and be alone for a while. She then meets Finn, a struggling photographer, and immediately friend zones him because she thinks he's too good-looking. Later, they come to a mutual agreement: he's going to teach her how to have great sex and she is going to help him with his business. Finn is the type of guy who says what's on his mind and will never say anything he doesn't mean. So when he starts complimenting Avery, telling her she's beautiful, she just brushes him off.
