On the 1st Friday of each month, our members let their hair down and enjoy dinner often pizza , wine and bridge in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere. Why not join in on the fun next year? Our students can take advantage of several scholarship and award opportunities. The awards recognise and celebrate innovation, excellence and educational achievement in Aboriginal education in NSW public schools, school communities and department directorates. Teams compete in a round robin series of debates against other schools. The winners go on to compete at regional and state level to determine the eventual state champion. Each competition is a great opportunity for students to develop their speech-writing and presentation skills while representing their schools in a state-wide competition. The Duke of Edinburgh Award provides an internationally recognised, self-development program for people aged 14 to The program equips young people with the opportunity to undertake a variety of voluntary and challenging activities. Camden Haven High School Awards and Scholarships Long Tan Leadership Award The Australian Defence Force has generously supported our school for a number of years with the Long Tan award for students in year 10 and 12 who demonstrate excellence in team work and leadership. To find out more see the Future Moves website. The Laurieton Rotary presents a year 12 student with this award for showing outstanding citizenship service within the community. Results for 10th November. Australian Economics and Business Studies Competition This competition aims to recognise and reward excellence in the fields of Economics and Business Studies. Year 8.

Beginners Classes start on 2nd March from am to pm. They will be held in Barton hall each Saturday for 6 weeks. Two original members have stayed with the club since it was formed in , and still enjoy playing today. Norma Feller says the game has been good to her.
