I have very fond, loving memories of selection boxes. Shout out to little fingers of Fudge, which I never really learnt to appreciate until I was an adult it's all Curly Wurly's fault. The Kinder selection box is labelled as a 'large hamper' on my receipt, which made me feel like I was getting a pretty good deal for a tenner. When you break it all down and shop around, it's not necessarily the cheapest way to get your Kinder fix but more on that later. Packed in a study cardboard box, the hamper would make for a great gift, ideal for wrapping up as a little surprise treat. I unboxed it as soon as I got home, to see how much bang you get for your buck. I feel like Kinder could have tried a bit harder with the layout, multi packs inside made it look a little less appealing than the outside. However, once I've laid it all out on the table, it looked like loads. You get four Bueno bars, labelled as eight because Kinder always does that with these which, for the record, are my absolute favourite chocolate treats ever. If we're not calling a basic Kit Kat a 'four pack' because of the number of fingers inside then we shouldn't do it with Bueno either. Aside from that, you get a bag of 20 individual Bueno bites as well as four Happy Hippos. I got one white and three cocoa, which are wicked for putting on top of a cake, festive trifle or, in my case, straight into your gobhole in one bite.

If there's one thing people love at Christmas time it's chocolate - and Cadbury is up there as one of the favourites. Inside the box is two 95g bars of Dairy Milk, a plain one and an orange flavoured. There's also a 95g bag of Buttons, two Flakes, two single Twirl fingers and two Cadbury hot chocolate sachets.
