With monitors that would only record for 48 hours, patients were having to come back to the hospital 3 or 4 times during their monitoring to have the test completed. The simple purchase of a 7-day holter monitor eliminates the need for patients to return multiple times, thus improving patient care by making the process easier and more efficient for all involved. Laparoscopice Needle Driver. The OR is grateful for the arrival of a left-handed laparoscopic needle driver. A needle driver is used during laparoscopic surgeries to grasp the needle and enable free-hand suturing of wounds or incisions. Prior to this purchase the left-handed surgeons only had access to the right-handed instruments. We are grateful for the donor support that made this purchase possible and that allows for ease of use for surgeons, increased accuracy and comfort and enriched patient care.
