All undergraduate students, regardless of the academic program in which they are enrolled, are required to develop six essential capacities and earn 26 BU Hub units in six areas, typically within courses, to graduate from Boston University. The Hub is integrated into the entire undergraduate experience. BU Hub requirements are flexible and can be satisfied in many different ways, through coursework in the major, and BU Hub cocurricular experiences. Remaining BU Hub units can be satisfied from a wide range of available courses within and outside the major, BU Hub co-curricular experiences, and AP credit.
