Which character would you like to be friends with? Quote from Charles in the episode House Mouses. Captain Holt: Are you stealing kitchen supplies?
They end up duct taped to office chairs in a back room somewhere, and Terry gets mad at Jake for taking the house mouses out of their houses. And for their efforts, Scully and Hitchcock get brand new cushy office chairs, which Terry hopes will encourage them never to leave the office again. But this episode changed my opinion on that, because it was fun to watch these two detectives actually get out and do some detecting. They were both so earnestly invested in the case, and even though their methods were clearly going to get them killed without some intervention on the part of Terry and Jake, Scully and Hitchcock took on the case without fear and with quite a lot of gusto. They also managed to make Jake look pretty wise in comparison, which is not a bad thing to show once in a while. Now I just imagine them as double Jerry Gergiches from Parks and Recreation , stuffing and licking a million envelopes, or sorting through a million different color-coded folders. Holt assigns himself to work the case with Boyle, but he cannot keep it together around Weichselbraun.

Or do you attribute more to your formative years assisting premier artists such as Alexandre Desplat and Javier Navarette? Dan Marocco: It all plays a part in the way I hear music. I did learn a lot from seeing how guys like Alexandre and Javier write, but when it comes down to it, I just write the way I know how, and what sounds good to my ear, which is definitely informed by a wide range of influences growing up. PB: So many artists stare at the blank page in horror. Do you have a system in place before you sit at the piano or pick up the guitar to compose a new score? I almost always have picture to draw inspiration from. I really started writing music by writing to picture, so for me it really is much easier to have the guidelines of where the music needs to stop and start, what it needs to help, and what lines to stay out of the way of, etc. Image via Brooklyn Nine-Nine Fox. The show is about the fictional 99th precinct in Brooklyn, NY, and the group of oddball police officers who work there, including two with a fondness for classical music. But going against trope, Scully also sings opera. The other fan of classical music is Raymond Holt Andre Braugher , the respected captain of the precinct who has slowly risen up the ranks of the NYPD despite facing harassment as a black, openly gay man.
