Braun series 7 electric razor reviews
The Braun Series 7 is a relatively affordable shaver that offers a lot of features like wet and dry shaving, multiple accessories and long battery life but falls down a bit on performance compared to previous models.
The Braun Series 7 is one of the most popular electric shavers of the past decade. After years of incremental and minor updates, in January , Braun finally and suddenly released a brand new Series 7 line. I have been using both generations for a few months and in this article, I will share everything you need to know in order to decide which one would be best for you. This will be an in-depth comparison of the new Series 7 vs the original Series 7 version, presenting the key differences and the pros and cons of both generations in a useful and easy to grasp guide. The notorious Series 7 name stuck, although the new models have nothing to do with the original ones. In order to differentiate them from the original Series 7 , the new model names all start with 70 hence the Series 7 70 : 70 85cc, 70 75cc, 70 71cc, 70 27cs, 70 20s, etc. I will sometimes refer to this new Series 7 as the Series 7 70 in order to differentiate it from the old generation.

Customer reviews are independent and do not represent the views of Braun UK. I very much regret having wasted money on this product. A very expensive razor and compared to other electric razors I have used in the past it gives a "very average" shave. The pathetic pictogram instruction leaflet included with the product is almost useless. I bought this a few months ago now and really wanted to get a good use out of it before popping a review on the product. This really is an amazing shaver. Not used one like it before. Its got so many different functions, waterproof etc. Every man needs one of these. It's a really great machine, effective and useful. The user manual could be improved, it's not really explicit how it works and how to set up the machine at the beginning. There is a lack of informations.
Can someone help me in that regard, I would appreciate it, thx.
Cons: underwhelming performance compared to the previous Series 7, better alternatives for the same money or even less , a couple of obvious cost-cutting decisions. Our Rating:. And in this review of the Braun Series 7 cc, I will share everything you need to know about this particular model. For the purpose of this review, I bought the cc variation, but it is still relevant in the case of the cc as apart from a few attachments included in the package, the shavers are absolutely the same. Braun uses this terminology extensively on the product page , so it must be a big deal. All the shavers, including the cc in our test, feature an adapting shaving head that can swivel on two planes: up and down and left to right.
Quick to charge and easy to use, the Braun Series 7 gives you one of the smoothest and most comfortable shaves you can expect from an electric shaver. Its range runs from the affordable Series 1, with 6. It gives you 24k cuts per minute, and three shaving elements in a degree adaptive head system. You can browse them all at Braun. The shaver itself is a nice-looking bit of kit. About

For most guys, achieving the perfect shave usually consists of trial and error with razors, shavers, and products that don't really work. There are three parts to getting the perfect shave — a sharp blade, steady precision, and cleanliness. If any one of these elements is missing from your shaving routine, you're bound to experience leftover stubble, cuts, irritated skin, or dreadful razor bumps. Suffering from those negative effects and spending a bunch of time trying to figure out what works is usually chalked up as a part of the process, but it doesn't have to be that way.

Thank you for providing this incredible resource. I find that the new generation of Braun shavers has made it difficult to decide on which ones to get since they are all inferior to the previous generation. I think you made the right call by getting the older generation Series 7. The Braun cc is one of the new Series 7 models that come with an automatic cleaning and charging station alongside the cc and cc. At the price, with the cleaning station and lots of smart features the Braun Series 7 is a super electric shaver choice that will keep most people more than happy. I have no doubt that it will step up to the mark without an issues. Having to switch to a trimmer head, similar to the Phillips Norelco shavers seems like another worthless feature. Got a good deal too — some stores just want to unload the old stock, and most customers blindly chose the newest, thinking it will best. You are at least 18 years old and agree to our Terms and Conditions. The Series 8 is the next best thing since the excellent Series 7 was discontinued. More pleasure for me to shave in future now. Series 7 cc silver. They are also displayed when turning the shaver on or off, so the status button is rather redundant. I am 50 years old and tired of blade shaving and the shaving bumps. It has a good balance between cost and performance compared to the top-of-the-range electric shavers. Flex Head helps to shave tricky parts of the face including sideburns that limits missing hair, and leaving patches. The clipping on and off the cassette is not as good as the press-ins old series 7 and series 8 to 9 Pro.
You could however try a couple of things to get a better shave. You must press the button located at the top of the holder to physically connect the station to the shaver. I read your review regarding the cc. It was a rather poorly implemented system though as the mechanism would simply break if you tried to move the head from the locked position. It gives you 24k cuts per minute, and three shaving elements in a degree adaptive head system. The original Series 7 razors conveniently connect to the station via the pair of metal studs on the back. You can also clean the Series 7 cc manually. This happened especially when I used faster strokes, causing some stinging and pinching. I think they may discontinue them since they have introduced all-new lines few years ago. Thank you, Anthony, glad you found the article useful.
