This page has instructions for finding and climbing Wasteland Tower in southwest Hyrule. Climb part of the way up the cliff wall south of the Kay Noh Shrine. Look for the big metal block on a wooden platform. Use Magnesis to lift the big metal block, and the platform will rise. You might need to get rid of one or both smaller metal blocks on the platform to make it go up. From here, you can see a ladder on the cliff.

Breath of the Wild. Spectacle Rock , Gerudo Desert , Gerudo. The tower is located at the southwestern part of Hyrule, atop the mountains before the Gerudo Desert. The tower covers the land which includes all of the Gerudo Desert, as well as Gerudo Town , which is the home of the Gerudo tribe. The tower's travel gate faces Southwest, opposite the Gerudo Canyon Pass. The tower itself is located on top of Spectacle Rock , and is surrounded by swamp that Link can not swim in. The area is also very windy, making it hard for Link to use his Paraglider to reach the tower. Link can use Cryonis to create Ice Blocks to carefully reach the base of the tower. There are also several large metal under the swamp and just south of the swamp that Link can stack on top of each other in order to reach the tower. The metal blocks may also be used to make "dominos" of the stone pillars simplifying the jumping to the tower. Said stone pillars can also be knocked over with Remote Bombs. In the swamp at the east side of the tower, there is a treasure chest deep underwater. Link can pull it up with Magnesis to get a Sapphire gem.

The climb is a normal one, with no obstacles of note stomping your ascent to the deck of the tower. Lanaryu Tower is easy to get to and easy to climb, and you should have no issues with activating it. Akkala Tower is likely to be the first tower that gives you some problems if you choose to go after the Zora Divine Beast Vah Ruta first. The base of the tower is surrounded by the ruins of a keep which is infested with enemy blue Boboblins as well as calamity goop which damages you.
