On a cold January Sunday night, it was uncrowded, perhaps two-thirds full; we were seated in the downstairs section which is probably to be preferred. Service was formal, very professional, and proper. Excellent wine list, appropriately priced with range from modest to grand. For the quality of the food, the good service and the tastefully gaudy setting, worth the price of admission. Will go back for the choucroute alone, but would be tempted to try some of the other retro dishes as well.
