Boarding school juliet episode 3

We lay our scene in the fair Dahlia Academy, where two countries, both alike in dignity, come together; the "Black Doggies" of the Eastern Nation of Touwa and "White Cats" of the Principality of West have a longstanding feud. Romio Inuzuka and Juliet Persia, leaders of their respective dorms, seem to be bitter enemies. In reality, however, Romio and Juliet are boarding school juliet episode 3 in love, but revealing their relationship would call upon the ire of all their comrades.

Romio and Juliet's clandestine romance was bound to be discovered eventually, but I figured it would take more than just a few weeks for someone to weasel their way into the action. Knowing that all of Juliet's work would be undone if their secret were found out, Romio begrudgingly accepts the role of Princess Char's lapdog, forced to answer her every beck and call lest she spill her guts to the White Cats and the Black Doggies. Char is an excellent character to toss into the Boarding School Juliet mix; equal parts devious and dignified, she at first embodies the perfect example of a character type that will undoubtedly make certain fans very happy. She's pompous, pretty, wears a cat-ear tiara, and at multiple points throughout the episode she quite literally stretches out her legs to step on poor Romio's head — that's when she isn't riding him sidesaddle like a trained pony, of course. Though she's playing to an obvious character type, her theatrical antagonism is a great ingredient to add to the current cast mix, working as an appropriately over-the-top antagonist while still staying well within that comfortable realm of anime camp.

Romio is feeling a little down because he thinks that he isn't good enough for Juliet, while Princess Char is feeling a little neglected and underappreciated by her own country. The two of them find solace in each other's company and start getting closer. But as they get more familiar with each other, they start to realize that they have more in common than they thought. They both have their own responsibilities — Romio has to protect his school and Juliet, while Princess Char has to fulfill her duties as a royal. And they both feel like they're sometimes trapped by the expectations placed on them. As they continue to bond, Princess Char starts to see a different side of Romio.

There aren't any thugs attacking Juliet in the park this week, and thank goodness for that. Char has more going on than she initially reveals, though. It's just too fitting. What he ends up discovering is a literal shrine of Juliet photos, leading us to a twist that wasn't hard to predict: Char isn't torturing Romio to get back at Juliet; she's doing it because she's been in love with Juliet for years, and she can't abide seeing Juliet together with Romio of all people.

Going into Boarding School Juliet 's final episode, I was wondering just how the show was going to handle the inevitable convergence of the Great Pie War, Romio and Juliet's secret rendezvous, and big brother Airu's suspicions of Romio's romantic subterfuge. This not only ties nicely into Shakespeare's source material, which uses violent stabbings to capstone most of its major plot points, but it gives the entire story a thrilling conclusion that also sets up some interesting paths for a potential second season. After concluding Cait Sith and Rex's shenanigans in a somewhat clunky opening round of gags Rex and the Black Doggie Boys get into a random cuteness contest, while Cait Sith shows off his Michael Jackson -esque dance moves , Romio and Juliet finally reunite after she rebuffed him and got trapped in a broom closet. It's a cute scene, especially with Juliet tearfully and unambiguously admitting her love for Romio. The two even manage to bring the pie fight to an acceptable end by making a show of nailing one another right in the face with a creamy confectionery. However, nothing is ever simple for these two, because right when things seem to be calming down, Airu comes in to try bring the lovers' affair to an end once and for all. If there's one thing I wanted this finale to give me more of, it would have to be some character development and screen-presence for Airu.

Dahlia Academy Boarding School has dorms from two countries. However, the two neighboring countries have a hostile relations, and their relationship does not change even in the school.

They hide their love to maintain peace, but a clandestine relationship means they miss out on many of the activities couples get to do. I really like these characters, and I suppose I'd rather Char's protective streak and romantic rivalry with Romio come from a friendly place, but it stinks that my enthusiasm for Boarding School Juliet 's central romance has to come at the expense of the happiness of the Tyrannical Princess of Cat Ears.
