About us Black Site Studios was originally started in as a custom terrain studio called Home Brewed Worlds We had a moment of clarity when standing in a local gaming store looking over the multitude of games being played. They all had one thing in common…. All of our products would come pre-painted. We quickly got to work designing a ton of new and exciting products and went out and bought our first laser cutter- determined to bypass any crowd funding and just start shipping. Since then our product line has grown to include hundreds of kits, all manufactured right here in Texas.

Elevated Rail line - Straight Set of 3. Every item in our inventory has been inspected, very strictly graded, and bagged for its protection. Shrink Wrapped. Still in the original factory shrink wrap, with condition visible through shrink noted. For example, "SW NM " means shrink wrapped in near-mint condition. Near Mint. Like new with only the slightest wear, many times indistinguishable from a Mint item. Close to perfect, very collectible. Lightly used, but almost like new. May show very small spine creases or slight corner wear.

Make sure to wipe down any cutting residue and wear a mask if when sanding or trimming MDF, the burnt wood smell is part of the laser cutting process and it totally normal. You may leave the kit parts outside for a day or so and the smell will be reduced. Make sure you take your time when popping the parts from the sprue sheets. DO NOT tear small or thin parts from any sheet, you may damage them. Take your time while assembling the kit, some parts have been designed to fit snug or loose on purpose.

Black Site Backrooms events are a launch event for some of our bigger products. While we have unlockable goals that will be added to tier II and III for free during this event, all the products are in our scope for production regardless of the success. The main goal of a backroom is to build a solid foundation of a player base, allow the community to push the product into an even greater state, and celebrate a new release from an often new, independent game writer.
