The digital edition hosted by Salman Khan and the show premiered its first season on 8 August As with the television series, the group of contestants referred to as Housemates are enclosed in the Bigg Boss House under constant surveillance of cameras and microphones. The spin-off edition's First Season was officially announced on 24 July , Voot unveiled a poster with Karan Johar as the host of this digital exclusive season. On 13 June, four days before the premiere episode, first look of twelve housemates were revealed. The location for the house set to remain at Film City, Mumbai like how it did for the original series. The house contains a living area, One large bedroom, kitchen, garden, bathroom, store room, smoking room and an underground jail for punishment purposes only. The house also contains a confession room where contestants speak private matters to Bigg Boss.

On 26 May , JioCinema released a promotional video featuring host Salman Khan and promising an entertaining new season. The promo expecting to release on 7 June The House is located in Film City, Mumbai. Viewers will have access to 24x7 camera footage, in addition to the usual hour-long episode. The house design theme, 'Recycled,' features an eye structure in the garden area made of plastic water bottles and another eye in the kitchen made of used wooden spoons.

We saw a LOT happening last week, as the five finalists spent their last week inside the Bigg Boss house. Here are all the events that happened last week — Aug 7 — Aug At the beginning of last week, we saw our final five contestants who will be battling it out in the Finale. This week had no eliminations, and that was a relief. Even without eliminations, this was an eventful week at the house. The finalists got a surprise visit and live performance by popular Bollywood singers Tony Kakkar and Asees Kaur. They entered the garden area to surprise the finalists and performed a bunch of songs. They also praised each of the finalists on their journeys in the house. Manisha Rani was promised a music video by Tony Kakkar. Kakkar said that once the finals are over, he would be interested in casting Manisha in one of his music videos.
