Glut was the sovereign of a myconid circle, now displaced after an attacked by duergars destroyed its people. However, it holds some resentment towards Spaw for not giving aid during the attack. A brooding Glut can be found just inside the western entrance to the Ebonlake Grotto. Walking close to it will initiate a dialogue. Recently displaced, and without a home or circle, Glut will ask the player to describe their own home. Depending on their race and origin , the player can answer in several ways. Afterwards, Glut shares its memory of its fellow Myconids slain by the duergar, and will ask to travel with the party and kill the duergar , or if they have already been slain, to see their corpses. Once they have been taken care of, Glut will rejoice at the sight of the dead duergar, and proclaim that it is now the "Age of Glut".
