It was released by Takara Tomy as a Starter on September 18, The design features a dragon facing the left, similar to its predecessor. These modes are called "Assault Mode" and "Barrage Mode"; Barrage Mode offers more spin-steal capability, while Assault Mode seems to be more aggressive. Thanks to the spin-steal capability from L-Drago II , it is able to absorb spin from other opponents and increase it's spin speed, and with this capability from L-Drago II , does not make L-Drago II do well in Attack-Type combinations due to it relying on absorbing the opponent's spin to spin faster. The overall rubber on the edges of the Energy Ring however, makes L-Drago II works best in Stamina-Type combinations, and if paired with a stamina-type tip s such as Wide Defense or Eternal Wide Defense , it is able to maintain its stamina for long periods of time, even with just a few hits from the other rotating bey.
