Fou Fow Ramen serves bowl after bowl of steaming hot noodle soup to hungry customers over lunchtime, before closing for an afternoon break at 3 pm. The restaurant has amassed an impressive fanbase over the past few years due to its incredible and authentic Sino-Japanese ramen bowls and simple, affordable menu. Winkel 43 makes some of the finest apple pie in the entire city and serves this fabled crumbly dessert with generous dollops of thick Dutch whipped cream. There are many other reasons to visit this cafe, aside from its incredible apple pie, and scores of locals head to Winkel 43 throughout the day to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner. Its menu tends to lean toward Dutch home cooking and includes many hearty dishes, such as prawn bisque or sandwiches stuffed with wild boar steaks. At this peaceful spot on Lindengracht, guests are encouraged to choose between two or more smaller items, including sandwiches, soup and salads, in order to create smorgasbord-style lunches. Guests on-the-go can also order charming takeaway picnic baskets from PIQNIQ, which are filled with fresh bread, salads and cake. This down-to-earth cafe stands on the western corner of Reestraat and overlooks Prinsengracht canal. The menu at Koffiehuis de Hoek features many typical Dutch breakfast and lunch meals, including fluffy omelettes topped with veggies and open-faced sandwiches broodjes topped with cold meats, cheese and butter. Like many other restaurants of its kind, Koffiehuis de Hoek serves a mean apple pie, which tastes amazing alongside a frothy cappuccino or a large cup of hot chocolate. A married couple run this charming restaurant on Rozengracht and have pooled together their culinary skills in order to create an enviable menu that features many perfectly-balanced breakfast, brunch and lunch dishes. I preferred halloumi. I got a fresh homemade chai tea latte to go and was super impressed.

A perfect place for a tea and scone, or a coffee and croissant or a full breakfast or more!! Gift a set value, a High Wine Experience or a special overnight stay. The sauces mixed with the ingredients were special. I appreciate the interior design - colorful and cozy, the friendly staff, and the options that we had for drinking. The breakfast here is average. Last but not least, their cappuccino was just excellent! Very kind staff and quick to be seated despite many people coming to this cozy cafe. The 50 best breakfast and brunch in Amsterdam. Really nice bagels! I've had amazing service before, but it's never and I mean never felt authentic and genuine like my experience here. We sat and ordered coffee and water. Yes, the food might not be mind blowing but it is the freshness and quality that counts. Their food is great because you can tell they use the fresh ingredients. Pastry shop.

If you are in a rush, this is not the place to go as the staff is limited and they take some time to get to you. The rooftop bar is amazing. I would give it more than 5 stars if possible. I ordered bread with eggs and bacon. The chicken was perfectly crispy and the waffles was fluffy and still had a crunch. Food came out quick and was flavorful. My favorite are the cinnamon buns and can only recommend it! Terrace is always full of smokers, so impossible to enjoy. Reservations are required but they're open every day from 8am to 5pm. My partner ordered the same French Toast I had ordered the day before, but the plate looked less put together or put together more hastly at the least. Where Where are you going. They have five locations across Amsterdam. Romantic places. They put little tiny brownies when you ask for cappuccino and I loveeeed it a nice plus.
