By Chewytowel , June 24, in General. All of the possible spots to build are pretty terrible. While the map looks very nice and the wyverns are a fun addition to the game, I doubt many serious tribes will build here long term when there are far better building options.

There is a small opening outside the rocky structure, which leads to the Spider Cave, and through the green crystals, you can recognize it. If you can get spawn at this location, it will still be a fine spot to build your base. And there is a ramp through which you can make your way up. You can block this choke point or other area in the back to secure the base. Most importantly, you will be in the center of the map, which is the most critical thing in PvE. The other plus point is that the honey cave is nearby, so you can also go there without covering much distance. I think the first location is the biggest flat spot in the game so far.
