When searching for a new restaurant each week, I always keep the peak hours in mind. Arriving at a time when the place isn't crowded allows me time to talk with the owners about their place and really enjoy my food. For example, I wouldn't go to a popular lunch spot between noon and 1 p. To my surprise, this Jacksonville Beach favorite was packed to the brim. There are many options for seating, including bigger picnic-size tables and seats at the bar. Beach murals cover the walls and surfboards are used to separate sections of the restaurant. Since each table was taken, I pulled up a seat at the bar.

We enjoyed breakfast at the Beach Hut. Staff were friendly and swapping breakfast items from the menu was no problem. The sausages were huge and good quality bacon. Generous portions. Highly recommend. Massive shout out to the staff in the hut.
