We provide friendly menus or lists and other cool stuff to make it easier for you and your kids to use Dance Mat Typing to effectively learn how to type. Dance Mat Typing is structured as a series of four levels with three stages for each level you can find them in the menu above. The animated animal teachers take kids through each of the 12 stages, narrating and showing them where to place their fingers on the keyboard, which fingers to use to type particular keys with onscreen cartoon hands. It shows us how to type using the correct fingers. We have been using it each week.

Build and test primary Computing skills with different levels of touch type challenges. You start by learning the home row keys. Each stage builds on previous lessons, introducing new letters as you progress and giving you plenty of touch type practice. At the end of each level you can test your typing speed and get a fun reward. In this level you will begin by learning to touch type the keys on the home row as well as letters e, i, r and u. Play level 1. In this level you will learn to type six new keys that lie above the home row including letters t, y, w, o, q and p. Play level 2. In this level you will learn to type six new keys that lie below the home row including letters v, m, b, n, c and the comma. Play level 3.
