It is with deep sadness we announce the sudden passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother Doreen Melnick in her 90th year at Hamilton General Hospital. Reunited with her devoted husband of 57 years, Joseph and her treasured grandsons, Aaron and Devin Doreen loved her family beyond measure. Nothing brought her more joy than having her family around her. She treasured time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Whatever the event, whether figure skating, dance, hockey, soccer, karate, or school events, Doreen would proudly be there. Her focus on family brought everyone together weekly for Sunday roast beef dinners with all the trimmings and of course, birthdays were celebrated for each family member with homemade chocolate cake.
