This is a stylish conversation starter and a unique addition to any everyday carry EDC collection. The body is CNC machined from a solid piece of stainless steel with a sleek and seamless appearance. The tip unscrews to replace the refill but the join is barely perceivable such is the quality of manufacture. When the description said seamless, it meant it! As It took me a minute on first glance to work out where the seem was in order to take the pen apart, as I use a specific colour ink at work which I order in. Notably, the Bastion is a good robust and weighty pen , with a smooth action , which my daughter likes to demonstrate repeatedly when she manages to get her hands on it. I feel confident with its design and construction should I ever have to use it in a tactical situation.
