Each resident is part of a team of residents including members of each training year and has a designated attending leader. Parking is available in the Laclede Garage, connected to the Center for Outpatient Health by an enclosed pedestrian walkway and accessible from Laclede Ave. Handicap parking is available on every level near the elevators. Valet parking is not currently available.

More than 1, new patients and more than 10, return patients were seen in the Lung Center in fiscal year There are frequently internal medicine residents and medical students present in clinic as well. The pulmonary function laboratory is conveniently located across the hall from the Lung Center. There are multiple clinics weekly focused on general pulmonary referrals and longitudinal follow-up and care for patients with both acute and chronic lung diseases. The care in the Cystic Fibrosis Clinic is provided by a multidisciplinary team including attending physicians, fellows, nurse coordinators, dieticians, and social workers. Once or twice each month, Marina Litvin, MD , from the Division of Endocrinology is also present in clinic to see and co-manage patients with diabetes or other endocrine-related complications of cystic fibrosis. A multidisciplinary team of lung transplant specialists including pulmonologists, nurse coordinators, and pharmacists staffs these clinics. Pulmonary and critical care fellows rotate in these transplant clinics as part of their longitudinal outpatient training.

The outpatient experience and training at Washington University in St. Projects are initiated and led by the second-year residents with faculty mentorship. It was designed with functionality in mind. Handicap parking is available on every level near the elevators. Projects are initiated and led by the second-year residents with faculty mentorship. The hallways are wide, allowing more space for patients in wheelchairs and with walkers. Many in office procedures are performed such as joint injections, aspirations, incision and drainage, and simple laceration repairs. The first patient appointments begin at approximately am with the noon hour off to attend educational conferences. Approximately clinic blocks each year are sub- specialty focused. Medical services provided at the center include hyperbaric oxygen therapy, gynecological procedures such as LEEP loop electrosurgical excision procedure and diagnostic hysteroscopy, and prostate, nerve and muscle biopsies.
