He is set to appear in the two-part Deathstroke focused episode that were previously announced, but what his future holds beyond those episodes is not known.

At some point in his childhood, Joe's brother, Grant , was born. He found some flat ground and pitched his own tent. That night, his father cooked some fish, despite Joe claiming to not like it. Sad to say but Arrow is a terrible show without Oliver Queen as Arrow. Joe said to his father that the Jackals' operation was a "reassignment of resources", which made Slade curious. Regardless, Slade trashed the Jackals' headquarters, trying to find out where Joe was.
