Theater is clean and well-run. The "Big D" offers a Big Screen experience of a big city theater My wife and I go a couple times a month on Tuesdays. The seats tilt back and are very comfortable First off, the theater itself is great and I used to love coming to see the newest epics in the Big D Theater, which is an amazing experience. I took my two young sons to see "Cars 3" for a 1 o'clock showing on Saturday June 17th. For a matinee show to a kids movie I was expecting to pay less than a normal movie. I was absolutely appalled. I could have waited two months and bought the movie on Blu-ray almost three times over for that price. Needless to say, I will not be returning to the AMC Theater in Altoona because the nice seats do not warrant the extremely high costs. We absolutely love this theater. Plenty of parking and conveniently located just away from the hustle and bustle of the crowds. Adults can enjoy a beverage as well and the movies bar. Big screens and large amount of seating. You have many options of location of where you would like to sit.
