Once completed, the new library will boast community rooms, tutoring areas, innovation areas, 3D printing and a quiet area in which to work and maybe enjoy a cup of coffee. In the meantime, much of the township's library materials, services and programming, including its children's library, will be moving to the new Woodland Park Public Library at Berkeley College, as it will be called during its estimated two-year stay. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is planned for Tuesday to welcome Woodland Park residents and provide tours of the campus and library facilities. The hope, Berkeley officials said, is to keep library operations as seamless as possible, although there may be some adjustments made to the schedule to keep hours closer to Berkeley College's own. Not all of the library's books and materials will make the switch.
