Louis We are seeking a highly motivated faculty member interested in practicing clinical pathology in a community hospital setting while also contributing to the academic mission of a major medical school. In addition, the ideal candidate will participate in the academic tripartite mission of WUSM via clinical, research and teaching responsibilities on the WUSM campus. Faculty will develop a reputation as a clinical expert in laboratory medicine, with leadership potential at multiple hospitals and opportunities to develop innovative models of clinical pathology care. Training of pathology residents and fellows is an essential component of this position and the candidate will be expected to participate in didactic teaching and mentorship experiences for trainees. Faculty will have opportunities for academic productivity, including clinical and translational research. Hospitals in the BJC system and St. Louis region span the spectrum of patient populations and clinical focus, offering a multitude of potential opportunities for collaboration between institutions and individual scholarly pursuits.
