The XP is a 62cc 4. The saw pictured throughout this article belongs to my neighbor Ian. He bought it new and has used it a lot. It still has great compression and runs well. Because the design is not old, it has a fairly decent spring AV system, especially in the later models. It reminds me of the old Husqvarna 50 Rancher that I reviewed recently — these saws just go and go. It does a pretty good job of keeping up with my as well. As already stated, the XP was made between and — it was made in Sweden.

Did not diagnose it any further just going to replace or rebuild everything and I will not have to worry about it again for a while. May as well do everything while I am in there. Really it's just the bolt wings that deform so I've probably just trued it up to factory specs. The flywheel side seal carriers are notorious for warping and causing an air leak.
