Since the car is 10 years old, I think I should replace the factory headlight bulbs as well. I'm finding it difficult to make a decision on new headlight bulbs, however. I know that these require h11 and h9 high-beam bulbs, but I want to go with something besides halogen, because judging from what I read, halogens only last a couple of years. I want bulbs that will last for the remainder of the vehicle's lifetime. One source of confusion I have, is that I have not replaced one single headlight bulb in the 10 years that I have owned this vehicle. How can this be possible? I'm pretty sure it's just factory halogens that are currently installed. Would I just be better off installing halogens, and replacing them as they burn out? Does anybody on this forum have any recommendations for a high quality LED coversion kit or high quality halogens? I'm kind of in the dark here, and would appreciate any light that can be shed on this topic puns absolutely intended.
