I repalced it but it still takes an act of god to get it started. Needless to say, once were up and running, it seems to have no power at all.

I was riding yesterday and when i went to shift into 3rd, the shift lever stayed up in neutral and i had to tap it down into gear. I was still able to downshift. I checked the oil level and it was where it should be. I took it back out and eventually it started sticking when i down shifted, it would stay down in neutral and i had to pull it up to get into gear. Is there a return spring or something that could have stretched or broke? Im using mobile 1 synthetic 4 stroke wet clutch oil 10w Sort by Oldest first Oldest first Newest first Most reactions. The only place you could get the WD is around the shifter seal, which is rubber, and if were damaged, it's very very doubtful that the damaged rubber could interfere with shifting, you would just have an oil leak there.
