I assumed a neoclassical structure with a two-story atrium containing a mammoth skeleton, although I think a Dinosaur would be more likely in LEGO form. This reveals my bias as an American who grew up near Washington DC. Upon receiving the set in the mail, the first thing that I noticed was the sheer size of the box itself — this is way bigger than we have seen in recent years! After looking at the cover, it becomes clear why… This is the second model in the series that is more than one stud plate wide. I do see that my prediction of a neoclassical style was incorrect, but not very far off either. In a surprise shakeup to the release of Modular Buildings, the latest set from the collection, Natural History Museum will release on 1 December , instead of its traditional release slot on the 1st of January. While many LEGO Modular Fans were ecstatic to finally get a Modular dedicated to learning, science and history, the Olive Green colour scheme was quite a divisive choice, and you either fall into the hate-it, or love-it camp. Who is this set for? LEGO Modular Building fans wanting to further expand their Street with a grand institution dedicated to history and science. Also those that like the colour Olive.
